Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to disconnect third-party integrations from uCinema and how to request deletion of your personal data. It applies to merchants who use the uCinema platform, to their end customers, and to anyone who connected a Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Business, Google, or TikTok account to uCinema.
1. Disconnect a third-party integration
Disconnecting an integration immediately stops uCinema from collecting any further data from that provider and invalidates the stored access tokens.
From the uCinema dashboard (recommended):
- Log in at app.ucinema.com.
- Go to Settings → Integrations (or Marketing → Connections for ad platforms).
- Find the integration (Facebook/Instagram, WhatsApp Business, Google Ads, TikTok, Stripe, ATH Móvil, or Shippo) and click Disconnect.
Directly from the provider (also revokes our access):
- Facebook / Instagram / WhatsApp: go to Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites), find uCinema, and remove it.
- Google: go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, find uCinema, and click Remove Access.
- TikTok: in the TikTok app, go to Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services (or TikTok Business Center → connected apps) and remove uCinema.
When access is revoked from the provider's side, our stored tokens stop working and are deleted during routine cleanup or upon your deletion request.
2. Request deletion of your data
If you are a merchant (uCinema account holder)
Send an email to support@ucinema.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include your store name or domain. You may request:
- Deletion of specific data (for example, WhatsApp conversation history or a disconnected integration's data), or
- Full deletion of your account and all associated data.
If you are a customer of a store built on uCinema
The store you purchased from or messaged (the merchant) controls your data. Please contact that store directly using the contact details on its website. If you cannot reach the merchant, email us at support@ucinema.com with the store's name and your request; we will forward it to the merchant and assist in fulfilling it.
If you connected via Facebook, Google, or TikTok and want app data removed
Email support@ucinema.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request", indicating which platform account you connected (for example, your Facebook Page name or Google Ads account) so we can locate and delete the associated records.
3. What we delete
Upon a verified deletion request we delete or irreversibly anonymize:
- Account profile and contact information.
- OAuth access and refresh tokens for connected platforms.
- Social account identifiers, published-post records, and ad campaign records stored on our systems.
- WhatsApp conversation history and media stored on our systems.
- Store content, orders, and end-customer records (for full account deletion).
- Demo request and lead form data.
Exceptions: we retain data we are legally required to keep (for example, invoices and transaction records for tax and accounting purposes, typically up to 7 years), and records needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Data already published to third-party platforms (for example, posts on your Facebook Page) remains on those platforms and is subject to their policies; delete it there directly. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on a rolling basis within 90 days.
4. Timelines and confirmation
- We acknowledge deletion requests within 2 business days.
- We verify your identity (to protect your data from fraudulent requests) and complete deletion within 30 days of verification.
- You will receive a written confirmation by email when deletion is complete, including a confirmation reference.
